Introduction


This service guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to send robot scripts using a pen drive.


Requirements

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • A mobile device with Robot Config software installed.
  • A USB pen drive.
  • A USB cable 

Procedure:

1. Create SKU in Robot Config on Your Mobile Device

  1. Launch the Robot Config software on your mobile device.
  2. Create the SKU.
  3. Save the SKU with an appropriate name.

2. Save the SKU Schema

  1. Once the SKU is created and saved, the corresponding script file will be automatically generated.
  2. Find the script file in the "Downloads" folder on your mobile device.
  3. Connect your mobile device to a computer using a USB cable.
  4. Copy the script file to the root directory of the USB pen drive.

3. Add the Magic File

  1. Before inserting the pen drive into the robot's USB port, add a "Magic File" (check attachment) to the root directory of the pen drive.

  2. The Magic File should be named in a specific format. Without *(1) in the name. This situation will be if you download a magic file more than once.

  3. The Magic File will instruct the robot to automatically send the script when the pen drive is inserted.

4. Transfer the Pen drive to the Robot

  1. Turn on the robot if it's currently powered off.
  2. Insert the pen drive into the USB port located on the right side of the teach pendant.
  3. It will automatically detect the Magic File and execute the script.
  4.  A red "! USB !" warning sign will appear on the screen, Warning: do not remove the USB stick when in progress.
  5. The file will do its magic.
  6.  A green "<- USB" sign will appear on the screen, saying that it is okay to remove the USB stick.
